Overview

"If you have the will to get there you will get there, no matter what stands in your way"
Lord Robert Baden-Powell
This will was shown by the groups "Merlin" and "Excalibur" in 2001, when they were founding "Freier Pfadfinderbund St. Georg", knowing
that other groups would leave their associations in order to join in and continue traditional scouting on the foundation of BP's "Scouting for Boys".

The special thing about FPG is, that all groups may keep their distinct scouting background, be it traditional "English" with a focus on camps, traditional "German" with a focus on hiking or a mixture of any kind.

The FPG association is setting the framework, written down in our statutes ("Satzung/ordnung"). It's up to the respective leaders, how they fill it up with life.

Internationally, we are active since January, 26th 2002 as member of WFIS - World Federation of Independent Scouts.

In FPG, we have sections by age as follows:
Beavers: 4 - 7 years
Cub Scouts: 7 - 11 years
Junior Scouts: 11 - 14 years
Senior Scouts: 14 - 18 years
Ranger/Rover section: 18 - 25 years.

In regular intervals, we provide leader training and actions for the sections.
